I think this article was very powerful because it reminds us that we cannot put one foot in the door and have one foot outside of the door in an attempt to reach our success. It is important for us to begin every year with a clean heart and a clear mind; letting Go of all negativity that once hindered us. We need to take control of our lives and we need to choose the energy that is around us. We cannot continue to let those same obstacles hold us back. We should push and break through the barriers in order to have the life that we deserve.

      Thank you and Latrecia,

Well said and everyday we get to start over. The beginning of each year allows us to self evaluate our relationships with our partner, friends and family members and we decide to let go of anyone who brings negativity into our lives. As you stated, both feet needs to be in the same door way!

It is crazy how people can be with someone they know is toxic to and for them. Regardless, it’s just so hard to let go even though in your head you know it’s the right thing. Especially when there’s been so much time spent with a person. It’s like telling someone “I know you are used to wearing pants but from now on , you can’t wear them anymore “

      Hello AD,

Thank you for comment and great point. Sometimes we don’t see it until we choose to leave. The good qualities and the years spent with the person are why some people stays. In addition, some people love the attention and as you stated why stay when you know the person is toxic.
